3D-Printing for Artists: Part 1
with Ardalan Mansouri
2nd April, 19:00 – 21:00
Ardalan is a biomedical scientist and bioinformatician who has experience with AI-driven 3D printing. While his day job involves navigating complex biomedical data, he is most driven by the moment a digital design becomes a physical reality. For Ardalan, 3D printing isn’t just a tool for the lab; it’s a way for artists to bridge the gap between technology and art.
Have you ever wanted to give physical form and dimension to your 2D sketches, illustrations, or artistic concepts? This workshop is designed exactly for that.
In this beginner-friendly session, you will get acquainted with 3D printing technology and learn how to apply it to your own artwork. We will cover how 3D printing technology works, how to digitize your art, adjust it in slicer software, and prepare it for printing, as well as explore post-print finishing techniques such as smoothing and coloring.
No technical background needed; just bring your curiosity and creativity.
Please bring your personal laptop if you would like to install the required software and start working on your own design.
It is not necessary to join both sessions, but it is advised!

3D-Printing for Artists: Part 2
with Ardalan Mansouri
9th April, 19:00 – 21:00
Curious to see your design come to life? Join us for the second session of this workshop.
Building on what we explored last week, your designs will have been printed in advance and will be ready for you to hold, examine, and evaluate. Together, we will look at the results, discuss what worked and what could be refined, troubleshoot any printing challenges, and apply final aesthetic treatments such as smoothing and coloring.

Intro to Improv!
with Heather Beveridge
16th April, 19:00 – 21:00
You don’t need experience. You don’t need to be funny. You just need to show up.
Improv is one of the most powerful tools for unlocking creativity, building confidence, and learning to trust yourself – and it happens to be a LOT of fun.
In this intro class, we use games, exercises and spontaneous storytelling to get you out of your head and into the moment. No scripts, no right answers, just play.
Facilitator Heather is co-founder of Art is Home and has spent years using creativity as a tool for empowerment – on stage, in acting coaching, and in professional workshops for teams and individuals. She brings that same energy here: warm, encouraging, and genuinely transformative.
No experience needed. All are welcome.

Roots, Leaves, and everything in between: your tree of life
with Pip Wong.
30th April, 19:00 – 21:00
During Pip’s residency in Curaçao, their personal art project was their own life, represented as a tree. Over the course of this project, they learned A LOT about how trees develop and how those developments can correspond to life events. In this workshop, Pip’ll guide you to explore your own roots, trunk, and branches, reflecting on where you come from, how you’ve grown, and where you want to reach. Together, we’ll create living maps of our lives, using the tree as a mirror for insight, growth, and creativity.
